MoBlog!
Now I have a MoBlog, too.
I don’t know how much I’ll be using it, but now that we’re wireless in the house and in the art building, I can potentially send photos from either place at will…
If you want to add it to your LJ Friend’s page, just go to http://www.livejournal.com/users/pelmoblog and hit Add. Come on, be cool, everyone needs to see my useless pictures, right?

Sigh
It seems most web pages are taking too long for the PDA to load. It keeps
timing out before I can even get my Friends’ page entirely loaded. We’ll
see how things go from here, it is still the first night.

We have a wireless network in the house. Now I just have to figure out how
to do all that I want with it. It’ll take some time but the potential is
awesome. All for only $30 (after rebates) at CompUSA: Wireless Router & Network Card.

So while it’s officially Spring Break, until I stay up way too late tonight, to won’t feel that way. It sounds like it’s stopped raining so maybe I’ll actually get out and do something, or at least sit in my hammock. I don’t have any special plans for Spring Break, but at the same time I feel kind of antsy to at least accomplish something, I just don’t know what that something is. Oh well.
Yesterday we went to Nick’s to play some multiplayer console games. I didn’t feel it was quite as successful as when everyone came over here, but there was more sincere bitching about the custom Halo games and I kind of took offense to that. Also, while we had more controlers and maybe more people (tough to tell since last time there were more people just not playing), it just didn’t feel as social. Oh, and I was really in the mood to play Crystal Chronicles, but Corwin75 left it at home. Also, I was in the mood to hang out with _cleric_ but he apparently went to a LAN party the night before and just didn’t feel like showing up. That punk. He’s one person I feel like I’d really enjoy hanging out with more, and yet never seem to get the chance to.
Oh well, it’s 10:00 and we don’t have any coffee or anything to make hot breakfasts with, so I guess I’m just going to have a bowl of cold cereal and stare at the TV for a couple hours before I attempt to get up and do anything. Maybe I’ll prime me other computer case that’s just sitting over there right now. I’d love to get it panted and get the computer transfered into it, but I’m also debating not painting it. It’s got some scratches in the aluminum, otherwise it looks pretty good. A nice, brushed aluminum case with a White Wolf – World of Darkness logo cut out of it.

The Last Hurrah – End of Spring Break BBQ
We were talking to Julian (yeah, Julian, shut up, really), and we thought it would be cool to have a BBQ during spring break but the only day we seem to be able to agree on is the last Sunday of Spring Break. So Heather and I thought it would be cool to have a “Farewell to Spring Break” (neener neener neee-nerrr) BBQ so if you’re not doing anything and you forgot to drink over Spring Break, bring some thing to char and something to dring over to our place a week from this Sunday (March 21st), lets say, around 4-4:30? Yeah, that sounds good. Pass this info on to other people. So long as they’re not vandals, will leave when the party’s over, and don’t throw up in the house, invite them along. I don’t have Paul’s address, but you can invite him too I guess.

Well, they didn’t dig up the walkway, but they were cutting the driveway as we left for work this morning. When we got home for lunch, I had to navigate over a nervously narrow steel plate that was spanning the gap in our driveway.
On the good side, there was also a cement truck by one of the driveways they’d ripped up previously so I’m confident that they will be concreting our driveways. Now I just have to see what happens to the grass..
Oh, and the Hammock is awesome, albeit a bit awkward until I learn how to sit in it. I plan to get a lot of practice in over Spring Break… A beer will get you a free ride on the hammock…

So when we got home for lunch, there was a car parked almost across our driveway and a backhoe parked on our walkway. Now, neither Heather nor I really take the little bushes on either side of our mailbox very seriously, nor the flowerbed areas around them, but this tractor was parked with one wheel in one bed and another in the other. It had completely crushed one bush and was threatening to do the same to the other. It also had to have driven in there (because the damn thing couldn’t have flown) so that means the metal edging that goes around these two mini-beds have most likely been completely crushed.
What I’m more concerned about is that I think this trench they’re digging down the road is going to cut across our driveway as well (it’s crossed at least two already) and I started to wonder… will they actually concrete it back over like it used to be, or will they just throw some asphalt in the trench and call it good like they did to this guy who lives up at the head of our street? Also, are they gonna replant the grass or is that up to me to do. Finally, when they carve this trench through the walkway to my house (which I’m fully expecting to be done when I get home tonight) are they going to fix it or leave it full of tar as well.
Damn, I never even thought about this crap when I decided to buy a house. Maybe it’s time to start thinking about that cobble stone walkway idea again.

Well, here’s Photo Journal #2. Sorry it took so long this time. I don’t know how long I’ll keep this up, probably as long as they’re still fun. This one is a long one as I get more and more into the habit of just snapping photos with my Clié.

Getting my Geek On!
I’m setting up a new game for some friends of mine. It’s going to be using the Spycraft system and setting. I’ve started a new web page for it (because that’s what I do, I make goofy web pages that no more than 10 people will ever look at). I just wanted to show it off here and see what other people think of it.
http://pelovish.com/spycraft
It’s still in progress and missing some vital information, but it’s going well so far, I think.
Don’t worry about what to put in the opening pop-up, you can type anything, it don’t matter.
