I made some new icons for Ben, who is still my friend, even though I may no longer be his. Apparently he didn’t see them or didn’t like them. Who knows.

I so intended to paint some more last night. I started painting a new mini on Sunday. I didn’t get too far, but I was pleased with my progress. I mixed a really nice burgundy for his pants, too. I just hope it doesn’t dry out before I need to do touchups. I wanted to paint it some more last night, but instead I got distracted by both Monster House, and Monster Garage, and then, while I was trapped on the couch, Heather changed it to Joe Average, and me being a pretty average guy in the grand scheme of things, I had to watch to see which “average” guy got the girl.

And I can’t paint tonight because I’m helping Fancy move stuff into her appartment. The curse of having a “mini truck” starts, not that I mind. I’ve used the bed of the Baja so little that it’s still a novelty to use it. I think I’ve only justifiably used it maybe once. Everything else we’ve carried back there could have just as easilly be carried in Heather’s Beetle.

I hope there’s no more games of telephone around the building today, I hate that shit.

hey ya

I’ve got tons of painting to do too. I’ve got a painting due in one of my art classes thursday.

and hey, which average guy did she pick? (I love reality shows like that)

Re: hey ya

She’s narrowed it down to 6, but it looks like she’s going to pick the Alpha Beta of the group. I’ve felt, from the beginning that, even though this was an “Average Joe” show, the Joe’s were evenly broken up into Jocks and Nerds, basically, a reality version of Revenge of the Nerds.

She seems to be zeroing in on Ted McGinley, unfortunately. I am split on this decision though. In the first episode, he specifically said he didn’t want to be on the show, he didn’t want to be the best of the second best. That pissed me off and it pissed me off more that he didn’t just quit with an attitude like that. He let four other guys who genuinely wanted to be there get cut instead. But now, he’s surprised me a couple of times by being unexpectedly deep and emotional, and has even said that some of the really geeky sensitive guys have taught him how to be a real man. Maybe there’s more to him than meets the eye.

Anyway, yeah, it’s not a bad show and it comes on when absolutely nothing else is on.

And, actually, I don’t paint paintings. I paint miniature figures.

it’s not really possesive, it’s just a stylized “i” wiht a dramatically swooshed dot. I can see how it would look like an appostophe though.

oh, whoops. it’s been one of those days. I totally misread your comment and then of course, filled my own with typos. sheesh, and I may be here for another hour or so…

…especially if this phone tech doesn’t figure out what my problem is, let alone the sollution.

My new goal in life is to get my own Monster House. The future house, with the bank tubes running through the house, is my favorite so far. Maybe if i ever own the one I’m in, I can start monsterizing it. D&D house? Star Wars Cantina house?

They did a mideval castle house, but I’ve never seen any kind of sci-fi house. that’d be cool I think.

I’m not sure what I’d want them to monsterize in my house, I’m not sure I would really want things taken quite that extreme in my home.

Re: Trucks

yeah, but it gave me another chance to be amazed at what this badass car can do. I hauled way more shit than I thought was possible. Fuck this is a bad ass vehicle.

I just want a house with secret passages. I want everything to slide into a wall, come up from the floor, or lift into the ceiling. Also, a secret underground shuttle to work would be swank too.
