Holy Crap if that wasn’t one of the best movie nights ever. We watched Bollywood under the start like it was meant to be, and from what I could tell, everyone really enjoyed the movie, even the people who were totally skeptical. That’s not to say we’re going to watch Bollywood every time, but its nice to know it went over so well.
I really wish we could have movie nights under the stars more often, though… it really was spectacular.

so this weekend, starting today even, is my most hated time surfing the internet. every web developer in the world thinks its their job, nay, their sworn duty to take this stupid “April Fools” think and realize it to proportions yet unheard of.

Movie Night!
Wow, I totally meant to post this on Monday and completely forgot…
We ARE doing movie night this week and, well, I don’t know that we’re going to be able to do what we had wanted.
We are watching Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, which is a Bollywood movie, so be forewarned of a couple things. They are long (this one will be just over 3 hours), but they’re not boring. There is singing and dancing. It will be in Hindi with subtitles.
DDLJ was the longest running film in history with 500 weeks in a row from release, so its a good one… its got a great story, great music, and great filming. It’s really a good way to start with Bollywood.
We wanted to show the film like the Indians do, on a big screen in the back yard, but the weather is questionable. Please bring comfortable outdoor chairs just in case and I’ll watch the weather closely this week. I’d still love to do it since its still early enough in the season that it will be beautiful, warm, and bug free.
So try and show up around 7:30 and we’ll start as soon as possible, outdoors under the sky, weather permitting.
