Man! Memphis is awesome!

What’s Beale St. like? I missed it due to a lack of time when I was there.

Beale’s street was pretty hip. I felt like stepping back to the birth of the blues, actually. The road was closed off to traffic, so it was almost like a street fair. There was tons of music on every corner, from every bar and restaurant and even alleyways, there were these kids flipping in the street for cash. It just all had a really slick and historic feel to it. There were these cool building facades that no longer had the building behind them that were being held up by a skeleton of iron girders, too. It was all really cool. The bar we finally ended up eating in was really great, too. All in all, a pleasant place to spend an afternoon/evening.
