so with all these people on dentontx going on and on about MySpace, I remembered I too have a MySpace account.

I’ve never joined Facebook, is there a point above and beyond MySpace?
I personally just like it better than MySpace, plus it seems like more people I know are on Facebook than MySpace. I’ve occasionally seen people on FB link to their profiles on MS.

So what is it about these other sites? My kids have myspace accounts, but one of them uses Xanga as a blog and just has the myspace for posterity. I’ve looked at them. Why “myspace”?

They’re all just Friendster variations… which was just an online dating database geared toward friends instead of sex. There really is no point. Each one comes and goes as the flavor of the day.
