I spent all Spring Break being assaulted by a full-body viral Tet Offensive known as The (yes, THE) Flu, which attempted to prove its stupendous badassness by dehydrating me to emergency-room-visit levels of dryness. I proved my stupendouser badassness by living. Barely.

wow. our student assistant spent the entire week working on a sculpture in the art building, which happened to be without power during the break. We all thought his break sucked.

Wow. man, good to hear your surviving. But are you sure it was THE Flue and not THE BIRD flu, or THE ZOMBIE flu or something? 😉

I’ve done the hospital stay from dehydration myself too, no fun there. Did they server the badass jello to you too?

I just saved a bundle on my car insurance.

Oh no, I mean plane tickets.

The wife and I volunteered to bump to the next flight last Fri when we were coming back from CA. It was a two hour wait from when our flight was supposed to leave. We scored $300 each in travel vouchers.

Round trip ticket to CA: $368
Wait time when bumped from previous flight: 2 hours
Getting enough in travel vouchers to pay for Christmas trip to Tucson: Priceless. 😉

Planning to fly on the airline’s dime from now on I think.

Okay, MC adverts off the list. You didn’t comment on the Geico spoof though, so is that good or shall I just remove the ad funny from acceptable? 😉

BTW, this is on a tangent, but I know you like clever ads and such, is there a spot that you can grab them online? Used to ADWatch was good, but last I checked was a long while ago.

crap, was going to chat you up about a clever ad I saw recently too and now I can’t remember which one. :p Guess it was clever in the moment.

Geico is still funny, but too many people have already made too many priceless jokes… I’m just completely over-innundated with them.

ADcritic used to host commercials for download and viewing and even had credits for them so you could figure out who that familiar face was saying “Hoo Ha Two Time Tuesday!” It finally exceeded it’s own bandwith and had to close… I heard they got reopened as a subscription site, but I’ve never checked it out.
