The day a Superman died

Ditto to what Oros said. Christopher Reeve helped bring life to my favorite super hero, adding to the magic that I felt as a kid reading the comics. It was really exciting to see him in Smallville and even the little musical cue of the Superman theme when he first came on the show brought a tear to my eye.
