So I was playing Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II again last night and I think I’m passed borderline disgusting straight on to stoopid.
I was doing fuck-tons of damage last night, like, the actual definition of fuck-ton was “see how much damage Kacey is doing with his barbarian.”
I was doing so much damage and killing things so fast, even Heather, who knows nothing about this game or D&D said, “that was pretty anticlimactic” when I killed a troll in one swing, doing almost 400 points of damage with one of my two swords. I almost felt bad for him. Almost. Then he brother came out and I killed him in one swing, too. A Chimera is supposed to be this fantastic creature. I mean it’s no dragon, but it’s got wings, it’s got three heads, it does all kinds of nasty shit. Except to me. Sheesh. When he was flying, he was safe, but when he landed… BLAMO! Two or three swings and he was toast.
And tonight I should upgrade my Scimitars to GreatSwords.
