Thursday in the Lab

Thursday, September 4th, 2003 | LiveJournal Archives

Well, I’m in the lab again. I don’t get to watch the end of Dude, Where’s My Car? I mean it’s my DVD so I can watch it whenever I want, but it’s not the same watching 2/3 of a movie and then having to walk away. You’re in the story, you’re involved. Oh well, it’s my job to manage the lab and make sure it is operational, if that means walking out on a movie to man the front desk, so be it.

We had potato ginger soup last night. It was… …intersting. I’d eat it again, but I don’t think I’d request it.

Danny’s game is tonight. I keep waiting for a scene he and I set up to happen, but the group has to be in sync first. Unfortunately the team is all split up and kind of in somewhat different timelines. Ben, Steve and I all need to kind of be central for the scene and we’re kind of the focal characters for each of the three directions the group is moving. It’s going to take a while to get back together I think. It’s been a pretty bad ass game lately, I’ve gotten to where I’m really looking forward to it again, which is a good thing. In fact, I’ve gotten to the point where I’m mostly looking forward to all the games I’m playing in. Every now and then I feel like I’d rather just spend the night/day at home, but I end up enjoying the game afterwards anyway.

I’m not going to go into details, because it would fall into the tmi category, but Heather and I had a really good night last night. She really surprised me a number of times. Things are really going well right now and I’m not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.

oh, and if you’re reading this: Hi Keri, nice to know I entertain you.
