So I’ve been doing a shit ton of nothing lately… and getting fat doing it. Its birthday season again around all my friends, so it’s cake day after cake day after cake day. Monday I get a chocolate chip cookie cake and I’m going to love it! I’m supposed to work out tonight, and while I feel fat and probably should, my stomach feels like a lead pancake and would probably make me grumpy in the end. Besides, I just don’t feel like it. Unfortunately, we can’t go next week at all either, so it’s now or never for the two weeks.
I’ve renewed my appreciation of Boom Boom Satellites only to find that I can’t get any of their music from any service I currently have access to. They’re not on iTunes or MusicMatch. I have pretty much moved away from CDs, so I don’t really want to invest in more plastic. Even if I decided to do so, their albums are all imports and cost $25-50. So frustrating. And of course there is nothing to be found on Torrent.
Tomorrow night is Movie Night, and as I announced two weeks ago, we’re watching Spinal Tap, so bring your extra drummer and come along. Beer is a must for this one because they do go to eleven and the are green.
I’ve been pretty lazy on WoW the past few days, but that’s how I play, and it keeps me from burning myself out. Heather’s got a baby shower this saturday, so I’ll probably waste away my day on WoW. Until then, the Netflix movies are starting to pile up.
I’ve gotten 8 of those laptops out of the office, as well as four of the iMacs. I’m digging a hole, and all the while Steve is watching movies and Craig is cleaning house (no bitterness – bastards).
Anyway, I should get back to building an iMac so I can get even more room in here. If only I could take one of them home, WoW would be kickass on one of those wide screen mofos.

so I was playing with Analogia this morning and I decided to post a few humorous examples:
And if I was a girl:
Remember, this thing only works in IE, so have fun and lets see your results (screencaps or links are fine).

And one more little change to my personal journal page… for those of you who are interested (this may be of special interest to anyone who is paid up and using the component layout.
I figured out how to build a scrolling component that lists all your public tags. Check it out, it’s pretty badass.

I know no one every actually sees my journal as you probably just read your friends’ page like I do, so I don’t know why I put so much work into it, but I spaced some stuff ou (with a couple of hours of learning the S2 code) and now I think it looks a little cleaner. I need to get a new photo for the background, but otherwise I think it’s looking pretty swank. Pretty soon, I’ll be making layouts for other people to use. It’s just a matter of learning how to mix up the LJ code with CSS and HTML.
Anyway, check it out and tell me what you think of the new spacing… you’d be surprised how much code goes into just spacing that shit out.

Last minute announcement. Since this is not a movie night this week, I’ve had a request to show the Family Guy movie at the house. It’s not official or anything, but if you wanna stop by tomorrow, we’re gonna play it no matter who shows up.but if you come, you’ll know what my newest LJ Userpic is all about!
Edit: Crap, I forgot I was gonna go drinkning with a friend tomorrow night… so I guess if we want to watch Family Guy, it will have to be Saturday or something.

I have a blue stapler with blue staples in it
We went to Steve’s Susprise [sic] birthday party, but didn’t get to yell surprise because everyone was there already. At the same time, though, I brought 8 pounds of tater tots! Mike and Keri showed, we all had a good time, even Tark and Misty (the hermits) showed up. Heather got drunk and it was a blast! When we finally left, Heather was wobbling.
Sunday I worked in the front yard for a while, got the grass cut, revealed an extra 18 inches of driveway from where the grass and debris had overgrown and started to do some edging. Got less than half way done when I ran out of wire for the weedeater. I swear to god, every time I use that damn thing, it runs out of wire. I think it’s because I use it as a edger more than as a weedeater and thus the concred destroys the wire. I think we’re just going to have to go ahead and get the edger attatchement… more money down.
Anyway, Heather is here to go to lunch, so I’m out like a light.
