This is badass. I’ve been actively not playing World of Warcraft for the past two hours. I patched and launched the game at about 7:30 and since then have done nothing but try to make it work again.

I’ve decided I’m sick of online shopping. I used to love it because you could find anything online, especially things you couldn’t find in stores. But now I’ve just gotten tired of it. I find stuff online and it’ll be nice and affordable, and then they double the price with shipping (what the hell is up with charging $10 shipping for something I could ship for $3.75 at the post office?). Or other times I find exactly what I want, with decent shipping and place the order for them to immediately send me an email saying that its out of stock and will be a month before I get it. Even other times I buy it, I get it in due time, only to find out it’s not at all what I thought (because the pictures didn’t do them justice) or they’re broken. I’m just sick of online shopping, but now that every store has a .com I can’t even check things out at stores to see if its what I want, or if it is, to buy it without having to deal with shipping and delays.
All I want is a super thin case/skin, belt clip, and keychain loop for my iPod Shuffle. I’ve spent three days shopping online for one because I can’t find pictures that prove to me that what I’m looking at is what I want and when I do find it, to not double the price with shipping.

I feel like I’m going to throw up.
I got the lenses and camera I bought (and paid more money than I have) on eBay and it turns out that for some reason or another, the one lens that I bought the entire package for doesn’t work. At first I thought maybe I was an idiot and the lens was not compatible with my camera, but I’ve found numerous sources saying that its an “ok” lens (which I knew already) and that it’s not a bad choice for the Rebel XT 350D.
So now I have to figure out if the lens was bad before I got it and if I need to get my money back from the guy who sold it to me, or the post office. Either way, I’ve very disapointed.
At least I got my new camera bag which is awesome and should hold all these lenses that don’t do me a bit of good. :/

oh, and if people happen to show up for movie night tonight, it’s Guy Pearce night, which means we’re either watching Memento or Ravenous.

As much as I hate to admit it, it may be time to sell my Clie and use the money for something a bit more useful to me, be it a “Digital Wallet” for archiving memory cards on the road or just something simpler for my dayplanning. I love this thing, but it’s gotten to a place where I never use it as a dayplanner, just a notepad. I just don’t carry it around like I used to.

so I got my iPod Shuffle (just in time for Apple to announce the iPod Nano) but I haven’t had much time to play with it. So far, I’m liking it, we’ll see how it works out at the work out tonight.
its got this wierd “AutoFill” feature where it will randomly pick tracks for you. Very strange. The fist selection was all good, but wierd stuff.

FREE!
Probably a month of work, but technically it was still free! Now I just need some non-apple headphones so I can successfully hide my shame in my pocket. 😉
