I started writing a nice, long holiday – new years entry at work, but then they declared the building unsafe for human occupancy until Wednesday at the earliest.
Now I’m just too damn tired to write. Tomorrow, the house fills up but my progress to the Dark Side is continuing nicely.
In brief, we had a good holiday, I’m waiting for all my post-christmas gifts to get to me in the mail, and we had an awesome new years eve get-together.
That is all, go back to whatever you were doing before.

“Free” Speech
Can you really call it a “free speech” area if you have to schedule it in advance?
So last night I was out buying beer, looking for some of the brews that were suggested at a part a week ago (yeah, like I can remember that far back) and I just grabbed some random ones. I picked up this one by Anchor Brewing Co that, when I poured it into a glass, was darker than a pint of old coffee. I had this mysterious, melted chocolate colored head floating on it an I swear, it didn’t so much as pour out of the bottle as slither. I have to be honest, I was a bit afraid, but after it breathed a little and I chilled it, it was really quite good.
It was their Holiday Brew so I was hoping for the best. I can’t say it was the best beer I’ve ever tasted (that Shiner ’96 is still really good) but it was smooth and tasty and all around pleasant.
Just thought you’d all like to know.
so I have 247 movies on my Netflix. I think I need to ask someone to upgrade my membership for christmas. :/
