The Longest Thirty Miles…

…in which I talk about our most recent family trip, with details that will probably embarrass Ansel some day in the future.

So, it didn’t even occur to me that I had missed a week of blogging until yesterday when I realized that today would be blogging day, at which point, something felt a little off. In my defense, however, I was a little busy last Wednesday, packing up and driving to West Memphis for our bi-annual Simpson family Thanksgiving. I had intended to catch up last Thursday or Saturday, but that obviously didn’t happen. I don’t really have a topic for this week, aside from the fact that lately, I’ve felt just a bit like Bilbo Baggins… “like butter scraped over too much bread.”
