car seat issues

Kacey,
Since I ordered your baby item online from Target, they sent me a notification with Graco product problems, I am not sure if your particular model has an issue, but here is the information.
We have recently learned that Graco Children’s Products Inc., in cooperation
with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), is voluntarily
issuing a safety notification on certain Graco CarGo Booster Car Seats. Our
records indicate that you have purchased one of the car seats listed in this
recall through the Target.com website and are therefore affected by this safety
notice.

The safety notice involves the CarGo Booster Seats manufactured between January
9, 2007 and March 3, 2008. These seats were labeled with an incorrect telephone
number for NHTSA which fails to conform to the labeling requirements of federal
motor vehicle safety standard no. 213, child restraint systems. In the event of
a problem with these child restraints, owners would be impeded in contacting
NHTSA. This issue does not affect the ability of the child restraint system to
protect the occupant in the event of a motor vehicle crash.

Please check the model number and manufacture date on your car seat to see if your car seat is affected by this notice. If you do
not know the model number and date of manufacture of your car seat, you can find
it on the label on the lower back of the car seat. Consumers can contact Graco
by calling 1-800-345-4109 or by visiting http://www.gracobaby.com for further
information, including a complete list of affected model numbers.

Graco will be sending a kit to all registered owners of the affected CarGo
Booster car seats. This kit will contain a label with the correct NHTSA hotline
telephone number and instructions for where and how to apply this label on the
car seat.

You may also find additional details about the safety notice in the NHTSA
bulletin at:
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/recalls/results.cfm?start=1&SearchTyp
e=DateSearch&date=03/14/2008&type=E&SCR323=true&summary=true.
If you purchased this item as a gift for someone, please notify the recipient
immediately and provide them with the information in the NHTSA bulletin
concerning these safety issues.

We regret the inconvenience this recall has caused you but trust you will
understand that the safety of our guests is our highest priority.

Thanks for shopping at Target.com.

Sincerely,

kacey3

Re: car seat issues

you know, you’re allowed to email me directly… ([email protected])

We’re not going to be too concerned about it since it just has a bad phone number on it and they say it is still a safe seat.

Btw, it was great to see you guys and you need to be sure to check your gmail occasionally because I think Jeremy and I both sent you emails about how great it was for you to take us all out and just be such awesome folks!
