The Home Depot was giving away one free lightbulb per customer. We went to get the one and walked away with 28 more.

they gave me one. we bought 28 more.
Ah. I thought you got all 28 for free. I was thinking “here I am *buying* 6 of them for my place like a sucker…”
nah, we would have bought more, but the ones we need now are more expensive, on the average of $9 per bulb.
