What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Northeast
Judging by how you talk you are probably from north Jersey, New York City, Connecticut or Rhode Island. Chances are, if you are from New York City (and not those other places) people would probably be able to tell if they actually heard you speak. |

I took it a few days ago and thought it did me poorly. I KNOW I have a Texas accent, and it just told me that I have a “midland” accent, or no accent at all. I think it should ask things like “how do you pronounce ‘wash'” and see what it comes up with. 🙂
dear, you’ve kicked most of your accent.
I wouldn’t say that you speak like you’re from Connecticut, either. If a Connecticut accent is supposed to be similar to a Boston or New York accent, you’re far from it.
hey, the parenthetical says that New York can be distinctly different, but it stil fits in the category of New England speech.
I still say Aunt and Ant differently.
