I was supposed to go to the new Pirates of the Caribbean this evening, I was even instrumental in setting it up so we could get all our friends to go together. But then we got a call from one of the people going and they said the movie was selling out fast. Needless to say, by the time we tried to buy tickets, they were all sold out and everyone is going but Heather and I.
We’re going to go tomorrow instead – but I’m still sad we don’t get to go with who we had planned to go with.

I have to wait to see it tomorrow too… My parents are coming into town for my b-day…. and my mom is DYING to see it for my b-day

If I’d remembered POTC was coming out today, I’d’ve bought tickets for that rather than the Devil Wears Prada. Ah, well. Hopefully that’s fun too.
Next time, if you don’t mind driving to Lewisville, you might want to try Lakepointe 10 off of I-35. It’s been forever since I’ve seen a show of theirs sell out, probably because they’re kinda hidden from what’s in front of them, car dealerships and a boot store or something like that. As an example, when Matrix Reloaded came out a few years back, more than 10 of us on the College Inn staff went to see it in the first few weeks. There were WAY more than enough seats. I’d say it’s worth the drive if you call them and they have spaces.
I never get invited to movies anymore…
