I keep trying to hang out long enough on Tuesdays to say hey, but I’ve never seen you to speak up. You should try checking in Art 228 (its at the end of the hall near your class) and see if I’m still around someday.

I have chocolate in my office… dark chocolate with rasberry filling.

I saw this post and immediately thought it was on one of the Mac communities and you were about to be skinned! I haven’t tried the yahoo widgets, but I don’t use my dashboard much either… Widgets are nice, but it’s one more thing I have to load and remember to use.

well, the best thing about the yahoo widgets is that they aren’t relegated only to the dashboard, you can set them to five different levels of visibility.

also, they’re way more useful (for example, there is no one widget that can show both your events and todos from iCal for dashboard, but for Yahoo, theres an amazing one that shows both, is fairly inobtrusive and auto updating).

Also, the itunes remotes are awesome!

Plus, the yahoo widgets are for Mac & PC both!

I took a look at the Yahoo widgets and thought “That looks just like Konfabulator, the widget program I used to use. It even has the same icon.” So I tried to go to http://www.konfabulator.com. It redirected me back to Yahoo widgets. Explains a lot. And yes, Konfabulator/Yahoo is great widget goodness.
