And one more little change to my personal journal page… for those of you who are interested (this may be of special interest to anyone who is paid up and using the component layout.

I figured out how to build a scrolling component that lists all your public tags. Check it out, it’s pretty badass.

I know no one every actually sees my journal as you probably just read your friends’ page like I do, so I don’t know why I put so much work into it, but I spaced some stuff ou (with a couple of hours of learning the S2 code) and now I think it looks a little cleaner. I need to get a new photo for the background, but otherwise I think it’s looking pretty swank. Pretty soon, I’ll be making layouts for other people to use. It’s just a matter of learning how to mix up the LJ code with CSS and HTML.

Anyway, check it out and tell me what you think of the new spacing… you’d be surprised how much code goes into just spacing that shit out.

A bit overworked
This is how many systems I’m working on all at the same time… and just to note, none of these are the system I routinely do my work on, its off to the right, out of frame.

Last minute announcement. Since this is not a movie night this week, I’ve had a request to show the Family Guy movie at the house. It’s not official or anything, but if you wanna stop by tomorrow, we’re gonna play it no matter who shows up.

but if you come, you’ll know what my newest LJ Userpic is all about!

Edit: Crap, I forgot I was gonna go drinkning with a friend tomorrow night… so I guess if we want to watch Family Guy, it will have to be Saturday or something.

I have a blue stapler with blue staples in it

We went to Steve’s Susprise [sic] birthday party, but didn’t get to yell surprise because everyone was there already. At the same time, though, I brought 8 pounds of tater tots! Mike and Keri showed, we all had a good time, even Tark and Misty (the hermits) showed up. Heather got drunk and it was a blast! When we finally left, Heather was wobbling.

Sunday I worked in the front yard for a while, got the grass cut, revealed an extra 18 inches of driveway from where the grass and debris had overgrown and started to do some edging. Got less than half way done when I ran out of wire for the weedeater. I swear to god, every time I use that damn thing, it runs out of wire. I think it’s because I use it as a edger more than as a weedeater and thus the concred destroys the wire. I think we’re just going to have to go ahead and get the edger attatchement… more money down.

Anyway, Heather is here to go to lunch, so I’m out like a light.
