1. What did you do in 2004 that you’d never done before?

Hell, a lot of things. I played games that didn’t exist, I started biking home from work (4 miles every other day), I started working out, I actually adopted and stuck with an excersize/weight lifting routine, I actually lifted weights, I wrote a Fucking Novel

2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I made two resolutions. It took me almost eight months to start one, and the other hasn’t even been touched. I will probably make the one I didn’t get to this year again next year.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Yeah, enough that I started to actually feel jealous

4. Did anyone close to you die?

Not really. No.

5. What countries did you visit?

uh, I can’t even make a joke about visiting the countryside.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?

I’ve been flattered again and again by my co-workkkers – more so than any year to date.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

If I told you, I might get in trouble.

14. Where did most of your money go?

To shit I bought years ago. Okay, that’s not true – half of my money goes to my mortgage, then a quarter of it goes to my car.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

Probably a lot of stuff, but most of it was probably really a let-down.

19. What do you wish you’d done less of?

argue with my wife.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?

every day again to the woman I married.

23. How many one-night stands?

none, I go to bed wtih the same woman every night.

ReplayTV and Netflix

29. What did you want and not get?

a 48 inch widescreen tv for the above purchases, and a 6MP SLR digital camera

30. What was your favorite film of this year?

I got Netflix this year so there’s really no narrowing it down to anything. I saw a lot of crap, both good and bad.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

I think I ate dinner with my parents and argued over whether they were actually giving me money or not. I think there may have been some zugzug, too.

comfortable

video games, friends, alcohol and any combination of the three.

they’re fairly all two dimensional, so unless you want to know who I’m looking at when I’m beating the bishop, I think I’ll ignore this one.

the election, I particiapted, but all for not.

37. Who did you miss?

surprisingly enough, my brother and his wife. Also, old friends lost beyond burned bridges.

38. Who was the best new person you met?

just see who I stole this thing from.

I also still consider blu3warri0r a new friend and I need to hang out with him a lot more – he doesn’t seem to want to rent the house next to me though. :p

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004.

Eating a pound of cake before going to work out is a bad thing (thanks for demonstrating this zero_interrupt)

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.

I don’t pay attention to the lyrics, thats like work and stuff.

“a 48 inch widescreen tv for the above purchases, and a 6MP SLR digital camera”

Champagne tastes much? I SOOOOOO want a digital camera. I don’t even have a dinky Wal-Mart one. I would probably commit a night full of deviant acts to procure a 6 MP SLR.

“when I’m beating the bishop”

Augh!!!! Speaking of deviant acts–augh!!! ***get out of head, mind pictures–out, damn you, out!***
