This may come out as an image…

… as I posted it to a Neverwinter Nights roleplay server I’m on. 🙂

(from my IM conversation just now that f’n crashed)

I wish I could have one good conversation about the intersection between the cyborg episteme and art history, theology, evolutionary ethics, literature, and historical critique of the Mediaverse.

Historical Absinthe Recipe #1

1 pint vodka
2 tsp crumbled wormwood (dried)
2tsp anise seed
1/2 tsp fennel seed
4 cardomom pods
1 tsp majoram
1/2 tsp ground coriander
2 tsp chopped angelica root
1 2/3 cups sugar syrup

Place vodka in large jar with tight fitting lid. Add wormwood and shake well; steep 48 hrs and strain out. Crush seeds and pods
in mortar. Add them and all remaining spices to vodka and steep in a warm place 1 week. Filter and sweeten. (The sugar syrup
mentioned above is your standard simple syrup.)

dat’s awesome!

makes me want to carve a pumpkin this year, and I had pretty much decided to skip it for the first time in three years.

since my gaming got canceled for tomorrow, maybe I should go find the least deformed pumpkin and carve it up for Sunday.

or the most deformed pumpkind… muhahahah!

Another option is to find Wormwood extract (which cannot be bought in the US, but can be imported) and add it to Absente (a wormwood free Absinthe).

I have Absente if you find the Wormwood.
