Well, as nice as firefox and thunderbird were, I think I’m going to have to chage back to mozilla as I can’t reply to posts with FireFox. I’ll wait for the next version I guess. I’m going to go download Mozilla 1.7 again.

But I’m using Firefox…
…and I can reply just fine.
Re: But I’m using Firefox…
Wierd, in both places I had Firefox installed, it would not reply at all. I had to open up IE or Mozilla just to reply to posts. What version are you using?
Actually I’m using Mozilla Seawolf. 😉
Using Firefox 0.9.1. I use it to browse the journals, friends list, and reply. No issues logging in on the page or replying that I’ve noticed.
And an extension called Firesomething v1.5.2 (by Cosmic Cat Creations) that brands each new Firefox window with some other name. Currently its ‘Mozilla Seawolf’ but I’ve had ‘Lightningfrog’and ‘Webtuna’ and other such fun. Its wierd how amusing such a small thing can be.

I don’t get it then, I had FireFox installed on both my office computer and my home computer. I could log-in and browse all I wanted, but any time I went to reply, whether is was right on the page, or through an email recieved in Thunderbird, FireFox just locked up. I had to remove it from both locations.
I’m wondering if it was something else installed earlier or what. Do you have Googlebar installed? Did you have Mozilla installed earlier? what the hell is the difference?
nothing special
Its been installed for a while. Well I started with .9 and then upgraded to .9.1. No Googlebar. Now, I wasn’t using it to reply before all of the LJ funky stuff. And my first reply with it was within the past week, so unknown if I could have done it earlier.
Re: nothing special
after rebuilding the computer completely and reinstalling FireFox without having Mozilla on in the first place, it seems to be working fine.
I also don’t have the Googlebar re-installed, so I’ll have to test that as well, but so far, so good.
