From my Old Clié Journals
Well, Im here for my second job with The weakest link. There are already people lining up outside but no sign of the NBC people. The rooms are set up but I’m still about 45 minutes early. better early than late, and since I have such a hard time getting places on time, I’m always glad to be early. I expect this to go as well as the last time, just a bunch of numbering and test grading. I enjoy doing anything like this thiough, and hey, it’s an extra $100!

No More LiveJournal
well, if anyone ever read this journal, this may be the last entry. I used the journal mostly to store my entries from my Clie, but since LiveLJ has failed on me so many times, I’ve found an alternate method, so I may not post here again. Sorry to all my adoring fans.

From my Old Clié Journals
Well, I finally did it, I buit a dual boot computer with WinXP as one of the operating systems. I have to say after an hour or so of playing with it, I think I prefer it over all other Windows platforms. It’s clean, it’s neat, and it’s well organized. Of course it may just be that it’s pretty, but that’s beside the point. I like the fact that it’s very easy to set up multiple users, especially for family situations. Not that all the other Windows systems couldn’t do it, but this one seems to be really well done. The login is really streamlined too.

From my Old Clié Journals
Yesterday afternoon, Heather and I talked a lot, mostly at work over ICQ, but still… I think we talked about a lot of important things and then last night was a really good night. but it seems like every time we have a really bad night, it’s followed by a lot of talking and a really good night. I don’t know if it’s a wretched loop or if on some, indistinguishable level, we’re actually making progress.

Heather and I had a pretty rough night last night. I relly hope we can work through these intimacy issues someday. I’m tired of feeling like her roommate.
She thinks we need some time away from each other. If she thinks that’s best, then she should put forth the effort and find a way. I feel like she has all these ideas that she never acts upon.

The reunion overall was really nice though, the best part I think, was the Close family reunion. We had pretty much all but one Close together in one house. Mom and Dad, Chris and Theresa, Jeremy and Christy, Rusty, Heather and myself were all in one cabin. Seeing Tom-Henry and Angelita is always nice too. We got to see Viki again and actually met her husband and daughter too. As I said, all nice people.

I’ve finally given up on the LiveJournal thing. I’ve lost too many posts to keep trying. At least four so far and three of them were really long. As a result, I downloaded six other non-web based options and this one seems to be the easiest and most straight forward. I may have to pay for it after a while, but I think it’s about $5. No big loss.

Davis Reunion – From my Old Clié Journals
06/13 10:10 am
We made it to the airport with time to spare, fortunately. I started to get a little concerned since we left about an hour later than I had wanted. It’s all Heather’s fault though, she forgot to get her cats’ food yesterday so she had to go out and get some before we left because they had none. Just to make us a little more concerned, parking was all kinds of screwy. Full lots all over the place. The nice thing was for some reason they were discounting covered parking and it cost as much as uncovered ($9.00 a day instead of $5.00 but that’s not too bad).

House House House
I’m almost positive that no one on the planet, let alone on the internet reads this journal, but to hell with it, i’m still updating it anyway. Maybe someday I’ll appreciate my own updates.
We’re buying a house! This has actually been going on for some time but I’vejust never taken the time to write about it.

I Hate Computers
I have two computers at work, a computer at home and a laptop to go between them, as well as a palm device (a Sony Clie) and it is rare, very rare, that all five are working perfectly at once. Admittedly, it’s usually one of the three desktop computers that fails, but still, I never expected to have to spend so much time formatting and rebuilding machines.
