The Game of Life…

…in which I talk about the lives of our animals and the value we are forced to attach to them.
As you may recall, a few months back we had to have my dog, Knight, put down due to an unknown illness or infection. We spent two months running tests and watching him degrade. He got worse and worse faster than the diagnoses could come in so in the end, we spent a good bit of money on drugs and tests, and then had to spend a good bit more on having him euthanized and disposed of.
