more often than not, stupidity completely astounds me.
what actually goes through the heads of stupid people, and how do they survive everyday life?

I ask that everyday. Especially when I’m at work and I can hear the stupid in people’s voices on the phone. You’d think some Darwin would kick in eventually.
Smart people pat them on the heads and say “Isn’t that cute” and then do whatever it is they need done for them. It sucks. Royally.
I think it’s like static. They can understand bits and pieces and just focus on those and don’t worry about all the things they didn’t comprehend.
“Fate protects fools, little children, and ships named Enterprise.”
Emphasis on that first part in this case.
