This Friday is Bollywood night and we have chosen Paheli. I’ve only seen clips of this one, but from what I’ve seen and heard, it should be fun. Its got Shahrukh Khan and Shahrukh Khan, as well as our old friends Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukherjees, and Anupam Kher. Its fantastical and fun and great music.
Weather permitting (and its been permitting a lot lately), we’ll be outside. We’re going to try to start the film at dusk as usual (8:09 pm).
Feel free to bring drinks, snacks or what have you. Nothing is required, everything is welcomed! Oh, but chairs are recomended as we tend to run out.
If you need directions, please respond and I’ll be sure to get back to you ASAP.

Paheli is hard to describe… oddly boring to watch, yet one of the most beautiful films I’ve seen in a very long time. Amazing choreography and costumes. Enjoy 🙂

I’ve found that most of the attendees are pretty happy with singing and dancing. It may be shallow, but its always a crowd pleaser for the outsiders who attend.
I already have the soundtrack, so I already know I’ll love the music.

nah, that wasn’t defensive… that was excitement.

It just didn’t carry over very well.
Looks good from the website. If I had my headphones with me today, than I would check out the clips.
