So Microsoft and Ultrasoft Money are so close to working together happilly, that it’s only more frustrating when they decide to be enemies. Fuck you both for teasing me so.

So yesterday I put the second coat on the office, practically draining the paint out of the bucket, and squeezing it off the roller onto the wall. I finished though, but then hours later I went in and started finding places where the paint was still quite sparse and I had to try to scrape more paint out of the drying bucket and smoosh it onto the wall with a brush that was deteriorating from smooshing paint. Anyway, I think it look good enough. Also, last night I finished Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance on Extreme mode so I could actually play Drizzt through the game. I’m not impressed with him as he does very little damage with his swords and has very few powers to speak of. He won’t change weapons at all and his powers were mostly maxed out already. So on a whim, I stuck in Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance II because I knew I could play him in that, but just hadn’t gotten around to it. He’s a lot cooler, does a lot more damage and has a lot more undeveloped skills. He still won’t use any other weapons, but he seems to be better with them and do a LOT more damage. So now I’m playing through Dark Alliance II on extreme with Drizzt so I can get Artemis Enteri as a playable character. I haven’t read any of the books and only know who Drizzt is from the fact that 1,000’s of people have told me. No on, however, has told me who Artemis Enteri is. I’ll just have to see for myself when I beat BG:DAII.

Today I’m going to go play some more Eberron at Talon. I think we’re gonna have six players today, which is going to be different, but probably useful. I need to settle on my scrolls since I apparently can’t scribe spells with a one minute casting time in order to make them useable quickly. They still take a minute to cast off the scroll. So yeah, some of my best spells will continue to be useless. Maybe we’ll get a cleric so I’m not the only one healing someone since I can only heal the Warforged. I’m still looking forward to it though… it just won’t be the same virginal experience it was last time.

Then, after the game, I’m toying with the idea of going to Lowes or Home Depot and looking at possible baseboards for the office. I’d like to get that room done before my parents come since the computer is currently in the guest room. I’d rather not have it in here when they come to stay with us, even though it’s only for four nights, two at each end of the week. I think they would appreciate the extra space and I’d just like to have the room closer to finished. I’m probably not going to get the fabric or the rug before they get here as they are both expensive, and I’m still not sure what I’m going to do for both, but I’d at least like to have the initial painting done and the furniture back in.

So yeah, I guess I should go get some breakfast. Bacon and Eggs would be good, only I’m out of bacon, so I’m either going to have Eggs with no bacon, or just plain cereal. I don’t forsee anything more interesting in my future for food. I could pay some bills too, if I were so inclined, but I’ll probably wait until this evening or Monday.

Have a great Saturday everyone, I’m gonna go see what’s on the ReplayTV.

Drizzt in Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance sucks. Drizzt in Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II rocks.

But it’s late, I’m tired, and I’m going to bed.

Tomorrow… Eberron!
